How to Make a Classroom Pointer
Welcome to Make-and-Take Monday! Today we’re going to learn how to make a fun pointer for your classroom.
To make the pointer pictured above you will need the following supplies:
- Dowel: from craft store
- One Glove: from dollar store
- Hair Band: from dollar Store
- Batting: from craft store
- Glue Gun
First, stuff the body of the glove and fingers with batting, it may take several tries to get it to look the way you want. You may need to use a little more batting in the index finger and less in the others. Next, insert the dowel into the glove making sure it’s in far enough so it won’t fall off easily. Secure the glove to the dowel using the hair band winding it as tight as possible, you may need to use a little glue from the glue gun at this stage too if the glove is not tight enough. Next, using the glue gun, glue down the middle, ring, pinky finger, and thumb so it looks as if the glove is pointing.
