Printable Dot Counting Book

The 1-5 dot counting book prompted many requests for a companion with numbers up to ten. This book will help your students develop one-to-one correspondence skills and number sense.

How to Assemble the Dot Counting Book

To make the book, first print the pages on your computer and copy one set per child. Next, fold each page with the fold on the right. When all the pages are folded and placed on top of each other, staple the book along the left side. This method eliminates the need for cutting and saves you valuable time.

How to Use the Dot Counting Book

Students can use bingo daubers (Do-A-Dot markers) to fill in the 10 frame on each page. Bingo daubers add an engaging, hands-on element that will help your students stay on-task. These dot counting books will allow your students to practice their math skills while having fun at the same time!

Of course, these books can also be used to support concepts of print as students track print while reading the text. Your students can keep these books in their book boxes for independent reading.
