A puppet theater is an
important part of any early childhood classroom, especially an ESL
classroom. Students develop their oral language skills when
using puppets. The puppet stand on the left was made by my
father. I have found that when you have the puppets displayed
on a stand such as this students are much more likely to choose to
play with the puppets. I made the cloud curtains. I have
collected many puppets from thrift stores and garage sales.
