DIY Chips and Salsa
Would you like some chips and salsa? You can make your own pretend chips and salsa with materials from the dollar store. The black plastic salsa dish and green basket holding the chips were found at the dollar store. The salsa dish is filled with shredded red paper, also from the dollar store. The chips are yellow felt cut into triangles and the basket is lined with waxed paper.
What would you like on your taco? The printable order forms come in two sizes, one is a half-page and the other is 1/4 page. Choose the order forms that best meet your needs and those of your students. Add some clipboards and pencils to your dramatic play center and your little learners will have fun placing their orders from the taco truck!
The taco truck is always a popular place to eat! These printable name tags will help your little learners identify and choose roles to play in this pretend play theme.
Picture Word Cards
Print these picture cards and place in a pocket chart to create a print-rich environment for your little learners. Use the picture cards to spark conversations and develop vocabulary and oral language skills.
You can hang this printable menu in your dramatic play center along with the topping menu so your little learners will know what’s available on the taco truck today!
How to Make a Taco
Do you know how to make a taco? Add these printable picture sequence cards so your little learners can practice following step-by-step directions. I placed the taco toppings in a tray, but you could place them in individual containers if you prefer. This kit also includes printable labels for the taco toppings.
Is the taco stand open? There are eleven different printable signs for you to choose from in the taco dramatic play kit. Don’t forget, the text in this kit is editable so you can change it to meet the needs of your students.
