How to Make a Paper Bag Park Ranger Vest
Here are the step-by-step directions for making your own Park Ranger or Forest Ranger vest.
Step 1: Lay the bag flat and cut out the neckline from the bottom of the bag.
Step 2: Cut up the front of the bag to create the vest.
Step 3: Cut the arm holes and trim the vest opening.
Step 4: Turn the vest inside out so any print is facing in.
Step 5: Use your marker to decorate the vest.
DIY Binoculars for Dramatic Play Camping Theme
Of course, your park rangers need binoculars to look for forest fires!
Supplies
- One cardboard paper towel tube
- Scissors
- String or yarn
- Designer duct tape or paper tape
How to Make the Binoculars:
Step 1: Cut the paper towel tube in half.
Step 2: Wrap the two halves of the tube with your tape of choice.
Step 3: Cut your string or yarn to the desired length and attach using the same tape.
I have a lot of designer duct tape in fun colors but chose to use the paper tape because it had a more natural look that went with the vest.
Now your dramatic play campground has a uniformed park ranger equipped with binoculars to keep little campers safe!
