I created a new, free printable to go with the Pizza Shop dramatic play kit. This is an Employee of the Day sign you can put in your dramatic play pizzeria to add more writing and literacy opportunities.
Dramatic Play Pizza Shop Name Tag
First, crop and print one picture per student sized to fit in the blank square. Then, laminate the sign and the student pictures for durability.
Next, place one soft, adhesive Velcro circle on the back of each student picture.
Then, place one Velcro circle (rough side) in the middle of the square on the sign. Students can place their own picture or their friend’s pictures on the sign and use a Vis-a-Vis or dry erase marker to write the name of the Employee of the Day in the box below.
I’m using the phrase “Employee of the Day” instead of the typical “Employee of the Month” because different students visit the dramatic play center each day and their attention spans are short 🙂
