Do you have a key ring full of store loyalty cards? I was standing in line at the grocery store the other day and the customer in front of me handed her toddler her key ring full of loyalty cards. The child had a great time playing with the cards while in line.
When it was time to check out he searched for the correct store card and handed it to the cashier. How did he know which card to look for? He recognized the store logo of course; environmental print is a powerful thing!

Using loyalty cards will add realistic experiences to the dramatic play center that also include opportunities for literacy development.
Of course, you can always use real loyalty cards, but I created these to match the store logo in my printable grocery store dramatic play kit.
Laminated paper didn’t seem sturdy enough so that’s when I thought of using paint chips to create the loyalty cards.

How to Make Loyalty Cards for Grocery Story Play
Trace your store loyalty cards on a paint chip and cut out. Use the hole punch to make a hole at the top of each card. Print the free labels, then cut and attach to the front and back of each card. Place the loyalty cards on key chains or binder rings with some old keys.
