I’m so excited about the Literacy Beginnings book study blog party! We will kick off the party on Monday, June 27 with each chapter hosted by a different blogger. There’s still time to get the book if you want to join in the fun. I’m also planning for a fun contest to go along with the book study, stay tuned for more details!

My book came yesterday! I love the yellow tabs for each chapter! (These little things make me excited)!

Why not have one more session on the appendices in “Literacy Beginnings?” Fountas & Pinnell included really helpful information on a variety of things including: ideas for inquiry projects, teaching procedures for shared reading, interactive writing, interactive read aloud and tons more!

Can’t wait for the beginning of the blog party!

Sounds like a great idea! I didn’t have the book at the time we were selecting chapters so we weren’t sure if it would be appropriate or not. Now that I have the book I think it is definitely a MUST!

My book arrived yesterday — already has highlights, notes, post it flags,,, i’m so excited to begin. and oh yeah, like laura, i too love the yellow tabs.
