St. Patrick’s Day Hot Potato Game

Fun St. Patrick's Day Hot Potato Game for #preschool and #kindergarten
This super fun hot potato game is always a huge hit at the St. Patrick’s Day party! To make the pot I spray painted an individual cereal container black and stapled colorful pipe cleaners to the container to make the handle. Cover the staples with tape. To play, seat your students in a circle and fill a pot with chocolate gold coins. Next, play some Irish music and have the children pass the pot around the circle as the music plays. Pause the music and the child who is holding the pot gets to take out a chocolate coin; keep playing until each child has a gold coin.
