The grocery store is a very familiar place to all young children which makes it the perfect choice for a dramatic play center in preschool or kindergarten. A grocery store dramatic play center can provide many natural literacy, math, and writing opportunities that support early learning standards. The grocery store center can also be used to enhance a spring or farm theme.
I made a free printable for you to use in your grocery store center, keep reading to get your copy.

I created another apron similar to the one from the flower shop using printable transfer paper from the office supply store. This time I followed the directions more closely and it came out beautifully!
No respectable grocery store would allow their employees to walk around without name tags so I created some free, printable name tags for you {see below}. Just print, cut, and place in plastic, clip-on badge holders from the office supply store. Students can write their names on the badges using vis-a-vis markers which wipe off easily with a baby wipe.

With Earth Day just around the corner you definitely don’t want to use plastic bags in your grocery store so I also made reusable shopping bags to match this set with more transfer paper.

I have more pictures and free printables planned for the Grocery Store so stay tuned!
