I have a stormy relationship with Halloween; I love the holiday but can’t stand what all that candy does to the kids. As a teacher, I have always tried to plan any school events carefully to avoid the dreaded sugary stuff. So I put together a list of 10 non candy Halloween treats to use in the classroom.

Non-Candy Halloween Treat Alternatives
In the past, I have scoured the stores searching for Halloween candy alternatives for my class party and the trick-or-treaters that come to my home. Going from store to store looking for treat alternatives is such a pain!
Is it just me or does anybody else get creeped out when people take their babies trick-or-treating? I can’t bring myself to put candy in the bag of a sweet little baby!
With that in mind I decided to create a list of my favorite non-candy Halloween treats.
I’m not saying that any of the items on the list are healthy, some of the items on the list aren’t even food.
