Community Helpers {Guidecraft Giveaway}

This month our Guidecraft Educator’s Team is reviewing the Community and Roadway Essentials set.

You may remember that not long ago we reviewed the Roadway System and Community Buildings; the Community and Roadway Essentials set completes the transportation theme nicely by adding vehicles and people to the play scenario.

About the Community and Roadway Essentials Set for Transportation Play

This 36 piece wooden set including community vehicles, people, signs and accessories would make a great addition to your block center or a community helper theme. These high-quality play props are very sturdy and are constructed of solid wood designed to withstand prolonged use in the classroom or home.

Educational Benefits of the Community and Roadway Essentials Kit

I love adding figures to the block center because children will instantly begin talking- a great way to develop oral language naturally through play.

I was also pleased to see that the people included were multicultural which is necessary to accurately reflect the world we live in today.

Another benefit of this set is the fine motor practice it provides as children pick up and manipulate the vehicles, props, and people.

I received a Community and Roadway Essentials set to review; I was not compensated in any other way. All opinions are 100% my own.
